About The Conference

The 5th edition of International Conference on Trends in Material Science and Inventive Materials (ICTMIM 2025) is mainly focused on exploring the synergy of research in artificial intelligence, materials science, and electronics. This year's conference is centred around the evolution of intelligent materials and its impact on the future of power electronics. Recent years have witnessed how AI is revolutionizing the materials science field by enhancing the material optimization and characterization processes. 5th ICTMIM 2025 will explore the recent advancements in AI-driven materials design and exploration to develop intelligent materials with advanced properties. The conference intends to highlight the emergence of intelligent materials—substances capable of sensing, adapting, and responding to external stimuli ranging from self-healing composites to shape-memory alloys that hold the potential for revolutionizing power electronics and enable potential applications of intelligent materials in this domain. The main theme of the conference is to showcase how intelligent materials can reshape the future of power electronics. By integrating sensing, actuation, and computational capabilities, these materials enable the potential to create more efficient, reliable and autonomous power systems.
ICTMIM 2025 will bring together leading experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating intelligent materials into power electronics devices and systems. Through a rich program of keynote speeches, plenary sessions, and technical presentations, ICTMIM 2025 will encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge, inspiring state-of-the-art research and collaborations that drive the next generation of power electronics technologies.

About The College

Rohini College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) was started in the year 2012 by Shri.K.Neela Marthandan, a great Industrialist and philanthropist and now managing by his son Dr.N.NeelaVishnu. It is located at Palkulam near Anjugramam junction & Kanyakumari, the southernmost town in India. RCET is about 5 kms from the Kanyakumari railway station and 14 kms from Nagercoil junction. RCET is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & affiliated to ANNA University, Chennai since 2012. The main feature of the college comprises world class infrastructure with experienced and talented faculties, excellent pass percentage, good placement records and society-oriented products/projects developed by the students.

About The Department of EEE

The Department of EEE was established in 2010. It offers Undergraduate programme in BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering and also runs prominent Postgraduate programme in ME Power Electronics and Drives, which started from year 2012. In 2018, it acheived the milestone of getting NBA Accreditation. The faculty of this Department elude excellent commitment, and they possess high qualification credentials to provide technical education of utmost standards. The students are offered with Innovative Workshops, Guest lectures, Webinars, National and International Conferences, informative Industrial visits, etc. on a regular basis, to keep them updated with the latest trends in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Along with Highly equipped Laboratories, Industry sponsored Laboratories also established which increases the students knowledge to industry level.
